Strategy and brand platform

Discover YSUN Vision
What is a brand platform?

The company’s compass: vision, mission, brand promise, values, style, set down in black and white. A common language to align products, services and communication. It is the cornerstone of your strategy: the company’s DNA at a given moment, to be revisited every three to five years.

How is it built?

Through workshops and interviews, on site, remotely or online. We talk to as many people in the company as possible to understand where the added value, the challenges and the difficulties lie.

How long does it take?

Allow about 15 days of work. With one or two more versions after the presentation, the platform is ready in 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the number of people interviewed.

How much does a brand platform cost?

About €8,000 to €16,000, depending on the complexity of the project and the number of people to interview.

And after the platform?

Everything builds on it: marketing, communication and sales strategy, launch, visual identity, then your teams’ tools: prospecting, CRM, collaborative work. All in very concrete terms.

Do you support startups?

Yes: mentoring and business model definition. Fabrice is an entrepreneur himself, co-founder of the Kapinno seed fund, and has already mentored startups.

How much does a custom CRM or platform cost?

As a guide, expect around €10,000 for a complex website with a configurator, or for a CRM. With AI, custom tools are now within reach of SMEs: they used to cost €80,000 to €100,000. Secured like those of large groups: two-factor authentication, data hosted in Europe.

How long does it take?

A showcase website or a simple online store: 1 to 3 weeks. A platform like Machines-Direct: about 3 weeks, from specifications to launch. Its CRM: about a month, security included.

What happens to my data with AI?

Your files and code stay with us, not in a public cloud. Testing is done on anonymized data. When confidentiality requires it, we use AI models that run entirely on our own machines.

Who owns the code, the website and the visuals?

You do, once the engagement is paid: they are assigned to you in writing. We keep only our reusable technical building blocks and, unless otherwise agreed, the right to mention the project in our work.

Who hosts and maintains the tool?

Amen, a French hosting provider, on servers in Europe. Launch and the first year of hosting are included in the fixed fee. After that, updates and renewal on request, for a fixed fee.

Can we start small?

Yes. Many clients came to us for sourcing, then entrusted us with development, production follow-up, and then their website or app. Others came for a brand platform, then marketing and sales strategy, then their teams’ tools. You come in through one door; what comes next is decided project by project.

Sourcing, factories and production follow-up

How long does it take to find the right factory?

Allow about three months. One month for the audit: 15 days of work, including 4 of research, 6 on site and 5 of analysis. One month to have two or three factories compete on a prototype, with precise specifications, then compare price and quality. The rest for back-and-forth and approval.

And for the molds and first parts?

About 5 weeks per set of molds. A second version is often needed for adjustments: allow 10 weeks in total. Then come color and material adjustments. Our advice: limit the number of materials, since each one needs its own mold, and molds remain expensive, even in Asia.

What are the minimum quantities?

It depends on the product. In textiles, often 300 to 500 pieces per color. In plastic injection molding, 1,200 to 2,000 pieces depending on complexity. The larger the run, the lower the price. Our knowledge of the factories often lets us lower these minimums at the start.

Manufacturer or trading company?

We favor manufacturers: face to face, solutions come faster. With an intermediary, when a problem arises, the factory and the trader often blame each other. For some highly technical products, an integrator who brings several specialists together remains the right option.

How many suppliers do you need?

One manufacturer per skill: we never entrust a factory with a process it has not mastered. For large volumes, it is better to spread production across two or three factories. In every case, we keep a plan B, even a plan C.

Do I need to go through Alibaba to be protected?

No. Protection comes from choosing the right partner and from inspections. A standard bank transfer is enough, and platform fees inflate the bill. Twenty years of buying in Asia, without ever going through Alibaba.

How do I track my development and production?

On a secure page, updated at each milestone: decisions, photos, documents. It also serves as an archive. If you prefer WhatsApp or email, we adapt; usually, we combine both.

Who works on my project?

17 experts in China, Malaysia and Vietnam, some of whom have worked with Fabrice for over twenty years; in some factories, it is already the second generation. Fabrice coordinates from France, with the YSUN Creative team, and travels on site once or twice a year for large productions, tricky sourcing projects, or at your request.

Who organizes shipping?

A single trusted freight forwarder, from end to end. FOB (free on board) for a single factory, EXW (ex works) for several. To move fast, delivered to your door (DDP), then a full container as soon as possible.
